SUMMARY:History of Toys
DESCRIPTION:Today’s topic is all about toys! Who doesn’t love a good toy? Don’t have to be just for kids\, but for adults just like you and me. A lot of toys can bring back childhood memories\, and the experiences with them have changed over time. Maybe a certain toy brings back good memories? Maybe they bring back some sad ones\, too. Regardless\, toys have been around for centuries and amongst the 30\,000 artifacts we have at the Museum\, there’s bound to be something that you are tempted to play with!

SUMMARY:ThunderCon's First Annual Dungeons & Dragons Battle Royale
DESCRIPTION:Come out on September 20th at 12pm for a 4-hour D&D Battle Royale 5e event. This is a 4-team event where each adventuring party comes together to battle the forces of evil (or good) with the strongest adventuring party laying claim to the trophy and the shiniest of treasures. \n-This 16-player event will consist of 4 different adventuring parties of 4 that must defeat a horde of monsters. The team with the highest score will take home the largest share of the treasure horde. \n-There is a nominal fee of 5 dollars per player for the event\, and every player will receive their own share of treasure (prizing).\nThis is a scored event\, with points for every action (each action has a weighted value\, i.e. killing monsters\, killing other players\, etc.) \n-This is a party vs monsters vs party event (your party may choose to attack the monsters\, other parties\, or both). \n-Due to the nature of the event\, each character sheet is pre-generated allowing a balanced and fair opportunity for all. Please arrive by 11:30 AM on the day of the event to allow you to form a party with other players and talk strategy. \n-You can sign up as a team\, or solo and we will help you form a party with other players. \nREGISTER HERE: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/thunder-cons-1st-annual-dandd-battle-royale or on site on during Day 1 of ThunderCon 2026 (Saturday\, September 19th). \n
