ThunderCon is pleased to announce that guest sculptor, Dave Turner, of DeepRoots Design and Woodwork will be bringing his art form to its Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey 10th Birthday, September 20th and 21st. Come see his creations and witness a live demonstration of how to create a sculpture of your very own.

They see him rollin’, but nobody is hating on Rick Strickland’s fun-loving R2-D2 returning for ThunderCon’s Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey 10th Birthday, September 20th and 21st.

Rick is one of many creative minds scattered across Northwestern Ontario, and each year his droids have brought smiles, wonder and laughter to fans of all ages. He also doesn’t mind if you pick his brain for thoughts and advice on your own droid-making endeavours.

Fire up your unlicensed nuclear accelerators and set your particle throwers to full stream. Ecto 807 is coming back for ONE DAY ONLY at ThunderCon’s Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey 10th Birthday.

Yes, unfortunately, the Ghostbusters are double-booked between us and some pesky poltergeists, supernatural slimers, and some guy from the Environmental Protection Agency. So they will only be in attendance on Saturday, September 20th. Come by, meet the Ghostbusters and the local Ectomobile, and who knows, maybe open the door towards your first-ever Ghostbuster cosplay project.

May the Props Be with You—JK Creations is back for ThunderCon 2025!

Like cosplay, prop building is a love letter by fans for fans of our favourite films, shows and comic creations. Which is why JK Creations is once again returning to ThunderCon.

If you are a frequent attendee, you will have seen their previous work, including a full-sized Stargate, the Iron Throne, Dalek Thunder and Thunder Axe. All of which will be back on display for ThunderCon’s Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey 10th Birthday, September 20th and 21st.
