It is with profound sadness that we announce that ThunderCon has lost a beloved member of our family. We offer the family and friends of Poul-Erik Binderup our heartfelt thoughts and prayers.
Whether you knew him as Poul-Erik, “Pool”, K’Tal or P-E for short, he was an integral part of ThunderCon over the past 10 years.
Providing support, enthusiasm and creative talent that entertained attendees, especially for the Klingon Young Warriors Academy, where he manufactured the foam daggers and led the activity during the convention to the delight of all.
We will miss you, your smile, and the many adventures you embarked upon with us.
Just over a month ago, we wrapped up our 10th Anniversary ThunderCon 2025, and what an incredible weekend it was! 🚀 Over 4,000 fans came together to celebrate a decade of fandom, creativity, and community — making it the biggest ThunderCon in history.
From our amazing guests and talented performers to the dedicated volunteers, vendors, and every fan who filled the halls with cosplay, laughter, and adventure — thank you. 💙 You made this milestone one to remember.
