Become A Thundercon Vendor!

Want to be a vendor at this year’s ThunderCon? You can apply today. We are looking for:

Artists:

Amateur or professional creators who are authors, artists, and makers who create one-of-a-kind stories, artwork or commissions, jewelry, apparel, accessories, and more. 

Vendors:

Retailers who sell comic books, toys and collectables, games, and more. 

Food:

If you sell nibblies, munchies, meals or beverages, we’d love to see you sell them at ThunderCon!

Vendors will be announced in the upcoming weeks and a waitlist will also be created for vendors who are not initially selected or for those who wish to be put on standby in case of cancellations.

Where is ThunderCon This Year?

ThunderCon is being held at the Superior Inn Hotel & Conference Centre at 555 Arthur Street West in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

How much does it cost to be a vendor at ThunderCon?

Pricing and Details
This year, ThunderCon will be held at the Superior Inn, Hotel & Conference Centre. Pricing is for both days (you must be able to attend both days). All booths are against a wall. Tables will be set up in pods.

Booth – $275
8-foot table, 10-foot floor space against wall, full height pipe and drape, single table, two chairs, and two passes.  

Corner Table – $225
Two 8-foot tables, no pipe and drape, two chairs, two passes, maximum height is 6 feet.

Table – $150
One 8-foot table, no pipe and drape, two chairs, and two badges, maximum height is 6 feet.

Limited power is available, but you must bring your own extension cords as power outlets may not be close to your space.

Can I share a space with another artist or retailer?

Yes, you can! Please indicate that on your Vendor Application form (there is a dedicated questions for it) and then send a follow-up email to [email protected] with more information about who you will be sharing with.

Am I Guaranteed a Spot if I apply?

Before you apply, please carefully consider the following:

  • This application is for retailers and amateur or professional creators who are authors, artists, and makers who create one-of-a-kind stories, artwork or commissions, jewelry, apparel, accessories, tasty treats, and more.  Any AI-generated artwork is not welcome at ThunderCon; please do not apply if you sell AI-generated artwork.
  • This is a request form and does not guarantee a space.
  • Selection is not based on first come, first served, but rather by jury. Considerations for selection include relevance to geek culture, artistry, and uniqueness.
  • If you are not selected as part of the first round of assessment, you will automatically be added to the waitlist to be considered should a space become available.
  • If you are selected, you will be sent payment instructions. Do not send payment until instructed to do so.
